New Math Research Database

We are happy to announce the creation of a database designed to promote research and collaboration around the topic of teachers' understanding and use of curriculum materials. These data were collected in relation to instruction based on the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM).

The ERGO Database was funded by a supplemental grant from the National Science Foundation in relation to NSF grant DRL #1222359. The four-year DR K-12 project entitled Developing Principles for Mathematics Curriculum Design and Use in the Common Core Era [ERGO]generated roughly 1000 data artifacts around teachers' understanding and use of curriculum materials in relation to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM). The data from this project is set in the context of middle school mathematics in the United States in districts that were using the CCSSM as the official or intended curriculum at the time of the study. The publication of this database was intended to promote collaboration among colleagues who have an interest in how teachers understand and use curriculum materials, particularly in mathematics classrooms.

If you are interested in accessing the database, please fill out the brief survey (5 minute) survey to help us better understand your research interests and to get your email address so that we can send you a link for a username and password.
