Forum 1: Overview of Fidelity of Implementation Issues for STEM Educators and Researchers
Forum 1: Overview of Fidelity of Implementation Issues for STEM Educators and ResearchersEvent Date: toThe Center for Elementary Mathematics and Science Education at the University of Chicago is convening a series of on-line forums on fidelity of implementation with a particular focus on STEM education programs. These forums build from an NSF supported project that resulted in a suite of instruments for measuring FOI of mathematics and science instructional materials and a series webinars that highlighted some of the challenging issues of FOI measurement. The upcoming forums will build on the previous work, but target specific issues. They will be of interest to a range of and audiences including current PIs and others engaged in research projects, those developing new proposals and planning research designs, practitioners seeking to learn more about the range of issues pertaining to fidelity, and others interested in fidelity of implementation issues. The upcoming forums are: Forum 1: Overview of Fidelity of Implementation Issues for STEM Educators and Researchers
Forum 2: Adaptation versus Fidelity of Implementation: How much is too much? Forum 3: FOI at a classroom, school and district level: What are meaningful units of analysis? For more information and to register for the Forums, go to: http://www.researcherswithoutborders.org/media To view the archived webinars, go to: http://www.researcherswithoutborders.org/archived_webinars To learn more about the FOI instruments, go to: http://www.researcherswithoutborders.org/foi_users_guide More |
