Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Opportunity

The Graduate School of Education and the School of Public Policy at the University of California, Riverside are offering a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Education Policy and School Improvement. The ideal candidate would have strong quantitative analysis skills and experience doing mixed methods data collection and analysis. Interest in working in a Research/Practice partnership with local school districts is necessary. Areas of research and writing would include:

  • Teacher Induction and Professional Development Policy and Effectiveness
  • Instructional Improvement in Mathematics
  • Analyzing the Effectiveness of Interventions
  • Scaling Up Effective Practices
  • Continuous Improvement Processes

The appointment would begin July 1, 2015 or as negotiated. Candidates should have a PhD in Education, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Public Policy, or a related field by the beginning of the postdoctoral fellowship. The Post-Doctoral Fellowship is for two years, subject to a successful review of progress at the end of the first year.
